Overview

The Slacker Portable Player is both music software and a hardware device designed to play custom radio stations and content via satellite and is connected to the Slacker Radio service.

My Role

• Learn the product's features and benefits by interviewing software/hardware engineers, by hands-on use and speaking with users by conducting case studies.
• Create documentation which helps users become productive as fast as possible while also maximizing feature use.
• Deliver aesthetically pleasing printed and electronic documents that align with brand quality and messaging goals, and to maintain online FAQs and Wikis to provide greater information depth for our customers and internal users.
• Tools used included ROBOHelp, HTML, Photoshop, Camtasia, Snagit, Notepad ++, Word, Starteam.

Example
