Overview

Editor of a regional, bi-monthly print magazine with a starting distribution of 3300 and, at the end of my term, distribution was up 188% to 9500. North Idaho Wellness focused primarily on health and wellness content and local business and healthcare. We were the fastest growing magazine in North Idaho and inspired the startup of 4 more health magazines in the region - an accomplishment I both brag about and regret. We were basically a three person team but often would lose a person here and there which meant we had to be scrappy and efficient.

My Role

• Primarily to ensure content was in line with our brand and with the goals of each publishing period.
• Help meet revenue goals through the sale of ads, paid features and increased print circulation.
• Write articles, take photographs, and contract with contributors to provide relevant content.
